Description:
The purpose of this programme is to support practicing teachers to teach in a world that is rapidly changing, mainly due to the exponential advancement in technology, including artificial intelligence (AI). Participants in the programme will benefit through the purposeful development of their creative thinking, critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills (the 4Cs) as well as computational thinking, and enhanced digital literacies. This is achieved through participants learning to code while simultaneously learning how to use coding and robotics for teaching. Thus, participants experience the blending of hands-on creative coding and robotics with engaging applicable literature on coding and robotics and the science of learning. The programme also addresses the coding and robotics school curriculum.
